Shipping Instructions
IMPORTANT THINGS TO KNOW
You are responsible for paying for the flowers to be shipped to us. If you are local to Oxford, MS you are welcome to drop off. This saves on shipping and also keeps the flowers intact with less bruising.
We HIGHLY RECOMMEND fresh flowers be shipped AS SOON AS POSSIBLE from the date of the event (overnight or 2 day shipment) and encourage you to follow the shipping instructions to the best of your ability to ensure they arrive in the best condition possible. We are unable to work with molded or frozen flowers.
Detailed Packaging and Shipping Instructions

​​​We recommend shipping your flowers within 24-48 hours after your event.
Flowers dry prettiest when they arrive fresh! NOTE FOR WEDDING BOUQUET: For best results, don’t throw your wedding bouquet at the reception so it doesn’t get damaged. We suggest throwing one of your bridesmaids bouquets.
Please note that Lillian&Meadows LLC is not responsible for bouquet shipments delayed/ misplaced and/or damaged by the shipping provider before arriving at the shop!!!
KEEP YOUR FLOWERS HYDRATED!!!
Make sure to make arrangements to get your flowers to us as soon as possible after your event. The fresher the flowers are when we receive them, the better results when they’re preserved.
After the event, place the flowers in a vase until you are ready to ship. Leave the flowers fully intact if they are in a bouquet.
Wrap the stems of the bouquet in a damp paper towel. Then wrap the paper towel with plastic wrap. If your bouquet is in an oasis you’ll want to add water to the foam to keep the flowers hydrated. NOTE: If your bouquet has Dahlia’s or Sunflowers please wrap them separately as they are much more fragile and decompose faster than other flowers.
Place the flowers in a box where they have plenty of room. We don’t want them to get squished or smashed!
Place tissue paper, newspaper, styrofoam peanuts, etc.. around the flowers so they don’t roll around during shipping
If you are sending any items that should not get wet (ex:invitation or picture) place them in a ziplock bag.
Secure the box with tape. Label box “Fragile – Do Not Crush” on all sides and “This side up”
We recommend using FedEx or UPS 1-2 DAY shipping!!!!!
